(WINDSOR, ON) – The St. Clair College men’s basketball team were able to pick up another junior college transfer with the addition of 6’ 5” Jalen Harmon to the 2019-20 roster. The former Macomb Monarchs swing player hails from Ypsilanti, MI, and will be enrolled in the Recreation Management program in the fall.
“Jalen is a top talent and someone we have kept in contact with over the last year,” said St. Clair co-head coach Brendon Seguin. “He is a very important pick up for our program. Jalen is defense first guard who will help immediately on that end of the court. He exhibits leadership qualities on and off the floor and owns a winning background from Macomb. Defensive ability was our number one focus heading into the offseason and he helps immediately on that front.”
Harmon owns three district championships, one regional championship, and a state quarterfinal appearance from his years at Ypsilanti Community High School. He went on to Macomb from 2015 to 2017 where he helped the Monarchs to their second district championship game in 25 years.
In Harmon’s second season at Macomb they won the district and advanced to the NJCAA championship tournament where they placed 8th in D II play.
