Leave Your Mark Hosting Lacrosse Camps in CK
(CHATHAM, ON) – Does your kid need to sharpen their skills? Would they like to learn a new, exciting, and fun sport? Do your kids need something to do on their summer break?
Leave Your Mark Lacrosse is hosting a series of summer lacrosse skills camps in Chatham-Kent, a perfect opportunity to work on your game or give the exciting sport of lacrosse a try.
Running from July 15-18, LYML is hosting day-long camps at the Bothwell Area Sports Centre, starting at 9 a.m. and finishing at 3 p.m. Optional activities of pickleball, soccer, ball hockey, or horseshoes will run until 5 p.m.
The event’s instructor will be National Lacrosse League and Iroquois National Team player Jordan Durston.
The event is for boys and girls aged 7-14. All attendees must have a helmet with a mask, gloves, and an appropriate lunch. Sticks can be supplied.
Early registration ends this Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the Bothwell Area Sports Centre but registration for the camp can be done over the phone at 519-401-7791.
Running from July 22-25, LYML will also be hosting the 5th Annual King of the Courts camp.
Running daily from 9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. at Glen Mickle Park in Wallaceburg, the event’s lead instructor will be Jordan Durston, with guest instructors Johnny Powless and goalie Doug Jamieson, also from the NLL and Iroquois National Team.
The camp will be ideal for boys and girls aged 7-12, new or experienced.
Helmets, gloves, running shoes, a hat, sunscreen, and a lunch are required to participate, but sticks can be provided.
