Slow Start For Windsor TFC

(WINDSOR, ON) – Windsor TFC has yet to finish on three attempts during the young 2019 season. Following a 1-nil loss at home to Alliance United on June 10, the side found themselves on the wrong side of a 2-nil score the following week.

Windsor hosted ProStars FC on Friday, succumbing to the visitors despite having multiple chances on goal from close range. ProStars capitalized on a fast through ball in the 1st half and then added an insurance marker late in the match off a rebound after a tremendous save by keeper Kyle Vizirakis.

The club joins four other winless squads at the bottom of the League 1 table. They look to turn their fortunes around May 27 when they travel to Unionville (0-1-2) on May 25. The following week they will visit Toronto Skillz FC (0-3-0) before returning to Alumni Field on June 1 to host Sigma FC (2-1-0).
